Programs for Children
We have a variety of programs for children here at Salem-Berne UMC.
Children's Message: Every Sunday, as a part of the worship service, the children are called to the front of the sanctuary where an age-appropriate message is shared with them.
Sunday School: Every Sunday, beginning at 9:30am, the children are invited to go to Fellowship Hall to participate in an age-appropriate time of teaching and activities.
Junior Choir: Every week this children's group rehearses songs that they sing monthly in our worship service.
Kid's Klub: This is a monthly group for all children in grades 3-5 or ages 8 to 11. We meet on the last Friday of the month at 6:30pm in the Church. We just celebrated our third birthday and we are starting our fourth year.
Youth Group: Our youth meet at the Church every other Sunday night for two hours starting at 7pm. We have have fun playing games and studying the Bible. We are currently, at the request of a few of our youth studying the book of Revelation. Yes it is a challenge but we are getting through it and learning as much as we can.
